Xiuling was taken aback, her face suddenly frosty, quite serious.

After Xiuling had left, Gu Tao sat down and looked at the cup she had just drunk from. He found a faint red mark on it and, upon closer inspection, realized it was actually Armani's Black Tube 501...
Anyway, Gu Tao didn't know whether Xiuling was upset because of his unfiltered words or not. Whenever he sent her messages afterwards, her responses seemed somewhat cold; but it didn't matter anymore. She probably wasn't ready to accept her transformation from "him" to "her" just yet. It should be better after some time.
