Once again arriving in Chang'an City, Xin Chen strolled through the east and west markets sporting a completely new look and couldn't help but lament the scarcity of resources in the Tang Dynasty. What was considered the splendid and magnificent era to a few modern people, was at best akin to a small town-level locale. What was the use of opulent architecture? There wasn't even a bottle of Coke to buy, which to a die-hard homebody like Xin Chen was a devastating blow. There was no WiFi, no cellphones, no Gabe Newell, no Switch, no Hideo Kojima, no Rockstar Games, no CD Projekt Red, no World of Warcraft, no Quality Square, no Little Red Riding Hood nor Little Green Riding Hood.
Nothing at all.
This!
Was hell.
"This lamb isn't bad," Gu Tao said while holding a roasted lamb leg. "Tasty."
"For a girl, you should act with a bit more grace," Xin Chen turned around and wiped some grease from the corner of Gu Tao's mouth with a handkerchief. "Like a girl should."
