"Bad guy," Weiwei gently tapped Gu Tao, "don't bully it now."
Gu Tao didn't speak, just smiled. Soon after, he and Xin Chen exchanged glances, then nodded together. Gu Tao said, "Let's go."
"Yeah, let's go." Xin Chen also nodded. "Seems pretty vigilant."
"Vigilance is freaking useless," Gu Tao stretched lazily. "Let's head back too, we've got to set up the stand again tonight."
"Ah?" Liuzi grimaced. "We have to go... I wanted to binge-watch at home. Can't we not go?"
Gu Tao couldn't be bothered to answer that question. He simply pulled Weiwei and Liuzi into the car, and as for Xin Chen, he was likely to be out wandering with Milk Tea Girl again tonight. Calling him wouldn't make any difference. Before getting into the car, Gu Tao waved toward Liuzi's home window, then sat in the driver's seat, taking away the two young ladies and a dog.
After their departure, Second Uncle still leaned against the tree, lighting up a cigarette: "Sigh, the house has gotten lively."
