First, I took Weiwei back home. Although her day had been disrupted by Liuzi and she didn't get a chance to enjoy herself properly, not even being able to eat the little dumplings she wanted, she was indeed very happy. But her frail body was really tired after all the excitement, and despite not wanting to part from the merry group, it was only with Gu Tao carrying her that she could make it back to her house in the end.
"I'm so useless..."
As I tucked Weiwei into bed, she said somewhat annoyedly, "I can barely walk a few steps without getting tired."
"It's alright," Gu Tao said with a smile, fixing the blanket over her, "You're just not used to it. You'll get better with some exercise over time. Go to sleep. I'm leaving."
"I'll... I'll come see you tomorrow," Weiwei clung to Gu Tao's sleeve, "You're definitely going to be fine."
"I hope I'll be fine, too," Gu Tao stretched lazily, "Alright, I'm turning off the light."
"Mm."
