Liuzi sat on the balcony railing, her feet resting in Gu Tao's lap. Gu Tao was seated in a rocking chair, reading a book, quietly listening to Liuzi tell her story.
"The first year I met her, she was still in high school, and I was probably in my sophomore year of university. We met in a bar; she had come here to travel after taking her college entrance exams." Liuzi sighed, "Before you came into my life, every time she visited, I would hang out with her for a few days. Thinking about it, she'll be graduating next year."
Gu Tao put down his book, looked up at Liuzi, and said, "You, to put it bluntly, have been spoiled rotten."
