The black-clothed person, who had been stabbed by Lu Chuan, fell to the ground and paused for a moment, as if he briefly succumbed to death.
But soon after, he started to struggle on the ground again, his body convulsively twitching while he let out mournful howls.
Seeing this, Lu Chuan quickly approached, and to his surprise, found that the man seemed to have returned to normal, and the evil spirit within him had been expelled. It seemed that he had fully recovered, and his entire being had been revived.
He lay on the ground, his face showing a look of pain, and he cried out, "Where am I? Where is this?"
It appeared that this fellow really had come around, so Lu Chuan squatted beside him and asked, "Who are you?"
"Who am I? I am a disciple of the Shadow Cult, and who might you be?"
He looked at Lu Chuan, curiously asking in return while cautiously moving backward.
Lu Chuan continued, "I'm the one who is here to save you. Now that you have recovered, you can leave this place."
