Seeing the Sin Seeker return so quickly left Patrick utterly puzzled.
In his extensive experience of fighting for survival, he couldn't quite recall a time when such a creature would resurrect itself so swiftly.
However, he didn't have much time to think about it because, at almost the same distance as before, the Sin Seeker's towering figure leapt again and slashed down with its sword.
In the midst of the howling wind, Patrick didn't hesitate any longer and flung his arm out.
The bloody chains pierced the Sin Seeker's chest just as before.

But just as he made his move, Patrick suddenly realized something was amiss.
