"Hmm, Base No. 1 is out of the way, so let's head to Base No. 9, though it doesn't seem to make much of a difference." Zheng Yichen looked at the information on the map; Base No. 1 was in the opposite direction of his destination, and the other bases weren't on his way either, but Base No. 9 shouldn't be a problem.
"Navigation adjusted."
Back on the road, Zheng Yichen looked at some of the wreckage left along the way. The debris contained massive creatures and some combat weapons. Since they were relatively close, he approached and tapped on the corpse of a gigantic creature that lay on the ground, which felt hard to the touch.
The carcass had died from a large gash that cut open its belly. Through the gaping wound, one could still see some undigested remains, including fragments of battle armor. It was a relic of a great battle.
However, as the environmental imbalance took its toll, the site had lost much of its value for investigation, and Zheng Yichen moved on.
