Often, the power of Divinity creatures is due to the additional boost given by their Divinity Power. Essentially, they might not be that strong.
Without Divinity Power, they would revert to their original form.
For instance, the young dragon that Zheng Yichen is now raising, Tanshia Firlo, is a Demigod with strong Divinity Power. However, she hatched too recently. Even though she is powerful, she is still unable to defeat those seasoned warriors who lack Divinity Power, let alone overpower them with the enhancement of Divinity Power.
