If at such a time there were an entity in the world capable of achieving Unity of Heaven and Man, that primal survival instinct of the world would burst forth during a crisis.
Therefore, when the Great World chose worlds to break into, they generally did not choose worlds with this possibility...
They had encountered worlds with this potential, where the native practitioners were cultivators of Immortality Cultivation. Their practice and environment established a unique and intimate connection, unlike magic which directly uses the Elements power from the environment.
It was a deeper connection, where, after reaching a certain realm, even without much power, every move could cause great environmental changes.
That attempt shifted from breaking into an invasion, and as the situation escalated, the world's survival instinct erupted.
