The duration buff from Return to Origin was supposed to be used on the premise of overflow from the enhancement of Blood Combustion Transform to Origin. If it didn't overflow, then it wasn't truly the Return to Origin as I understood it, but simply a reduction of consumption for health points regeneration. There wasn't any increase in sustained combat ability; it was just to reduce the consumption of blood from before and avoid wasting it after the battle.
Unless one finds a way to accumulate and store life essence over time in their daily life, gathering far more life essence than their normal maximum capacity, then during a fight, if they want an explosive Transforming Origin, they can do so, or if they want a lengthy battle with Return to Origin, they can withstand that as well.
