Lin Xiaoxiao pouted her small lips, "But... didn't you promise that I could sleep with you tonight?"
"Be good, daddy is tired today, let daddy have a good sleep," Li Jinwen said softly, leading his daughter by the hand, "After daddy rests well, can you come sleep with us then?"
Lin Xiaoxiao opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but still nodded her head.
Li Jinwen held her hand, walked out of the room, and took Lin Xiaoxiao back to her own room.
After turning on the electric blanket, the bed quickly became very warm.
Li Jinwen tucked in his daughter, making sure the corners of the blanket were snugly in place, and said, "You're one year older now, you need to be good. When you wake up tomorrow, daddy and mommy will take you to set off firecrackers!"
"Mhm!"
Lin Xiaoxiao obediently closed her eyes, "Good night, mommy, see you tomorrow!"
"Mhm, good night, see you tomorrow."
Li Jinwen gently turned off the light in the room and closed the door as he left.
