David was small and thin, timid by nature, slow in action, and often stammering in speech. Even after his later recovery, he still appeared silent and reticent. No one held much hope for him and thought he was more suited to become a Priest. Yet, he chose the path of the Paladin with unwavering conviction.
Along the way, his journey was extremely difficult. Among his companions, he was the slowest learner and always scored the lowest in various assessments. But his heart to become a Paladin grew ever more resolute, especially during the time he spent out in the world for his training, where he exhibited all the noble qualities expected of a Paladin—humility, justice, honesty, bravery, honor, and compassion.
In comparison to this quality, his relatively weaker strength seemed unimportant. As long as he could stay true to himself and continue on, his strength would slowly improve.
