Over the next three days, apart from the unshakable Enlightenment Tree, Gaven spent all his time in the abandoned quarry.
Just as Gaven had predicted, as time went on, the number of Gnolls they could gather each day dwindled. Once the total number reached five hundred, they could only find a few dozen Gnolls daily. The effort wasn't proportional to the returns, so Gaven called a halt to the recruitment and focused wholeheartedly on rebuilding the quarry.
Considering the pitiful state of the Gnolls in the Stone Bridge Hills, just the slightest improvement in their living conditions would likely lead the wild Gnolls to seek refuge with them on their own.
Gos brought a peculiar-looking humanoid creature to Gaven and said with extreme fawning, "Lord, your ingenious planning and simple strategies have flushed out the monsters here. This is Dakar, the leader of the local freaks."
