How many constitution points does a person have?
Even a robust Golia, most of them have only seventeen or eighteen points, and can be poisoned to death in less than a minute.
Beings with more than six Life Dice can withstand it without making Constitution saving throws, but sustained damage cannot be avoided unless you have a Special Ability for toxin immunity.
Normally, this spell has a fatal flaw: it moves slowly (advances three meters per turn) and has a limited coverage area, especially for a Golia with terrifying jumping capabilities. Just a leap, and it's hard to cover them.
But under the cover of darkness, by the time it's noticed, the spell has already unleashed its first wave of damage.
