"Squeak!"
The wooden box opened.
Liang Qu picked and chose, brought the items close to his nose, and used the "Nose-Knowledge Method" to sniff and discern them in turn.
He took out a bottle of Pulmonary Jade Liquid, five lotus seeds, one Fluorescent Blue Lotus Flower, and two unidentified green roots.
These items were such that there were no medicinal conflicts, and they could be taken in succession in the short term.
Treasure Fish were still easy to handle.
Treasure Plants and Treasure Medicines, however, often had multiple properties that did not wholly agree with each other.
If one was strong, digesting lower-grade Treasure Plants quickly was not a problem.
If one was weak, residual medicinal properties that were not absorbed, followed immediately by taking another dose of something with conflicting properties.
The medicinal powers would conflict and dissipate; wasting it was a minor issue.
But if toxins developed from the conflict, vomiting blood was a major issue.
