Slurp slurp~
Liang Qu held a large porcelain bowl, taking big bites of noodles, then he grasped a fried egg with his round chopsticks. As the orange yolk began to ooze out, he stuffed it into his mouth before it could drip, its fat aroma filling the air.
Gulp~
He washed it down with a mouthful of clear tea.
Upon seeing Liang Qu's eating style, Su Guishan smiled as he picked up an oil-braised broad bean and tossed it into his mouth.
"Kid, have you not eaten for a day?"
"More than a day," Liang Qu finished off the meat at the bottom of the bowl in two or three bites, placed his long chopsticks down, and wiped the grease from the corner of his mouth. "I only had a meal last night, and since then, until I met you, I haven't had a bite to eat."
"Did you find out anything?"
"Far from it. I went too early, couldn't see anything significant. I reckon it'll take two to three days before any signs of trouble appear for the situation to get interesting."
