Boiled in clear water, a pearl? Braised on a gold plate, red shrimp?
These were Liang Qu's first thoughts about the local specialty.
Cha Qing dared not neglect the matter, and quickly placed the oil-paper-wrapped package on the table to unwrap it.
"In my hometown of Changgu County, there's a type of tea called Yangxian Xueya, which grows under the northern peak of the Overhanging Foot Ridge on Mount Jun. It has a delicate fragrance and a fresh, mellow flavor. It's truly excellent tea, which I have specially brought for Lord Liang to taste."
Cha Qing unfolded the oil-paper wrapping, and a faint fragrance filled the air amidst the steam.
Liang Qu moved closer for a look and saw that the package did indeed contain only tea leaves, and not just a few, but around two pounds covered in white frost.
"Yangxian Xueya, I have heard of it vaguely."
