Boom!
Lightning ripped through the densely clouded sky.
Above and below, there was no place without rain; the large droplets smashed into the water, splashing foam that could fall into the boat.
Members of the Whale Gang set aside the horse hanging tags and copper coins they were holding and took out raincoats from the waterproof compartments to drape over themselves.
Even though it was warm in April, getting soaked in rain and blown by the river wind could still make one shiver.
"Such heavy rain."
"It's a bit cold, are there any more raincoats? Hand me one."
"There are none left on the boat, why don't you ask on another boat?"
The shivering gang member stood up, looking around, his expression becoming puzzled.
Ten feet away was a white expanse, too blurred to see clearly. The rain was as dense as a curtain, with water foam smashing and shattering everywhere, and occasional bolts of lightning striking straight into the water.
