East City Villa:
Because it was the weekend, Fu Jingshen specially accompanied Gu Nian to this villa for a vacation.
The Gu Family obtained the land in East City over a month ago...the basic infrastructure planning map was already out.
So, vacationing in this forested area also offered an opportunity to overlook the scenery of East City's mountainous region from up high.
Thus, it had to be said, Fu Jingshen's suggestion was very much to Gu Nian's liking.
Fu Jingshen was as astute at discerning people's thoughts as ever.

Night fell.
Sometime during the evening, snowflakes began to drift from the sky, exquisite in their form.
The last time Gu Nian came here, it was also snowing...and it was Christmas Eve.
Gu Nian loved snowy days...they were just so romantic.
Perhaps...it wasn't just that, as the white snow floated down, it seemed to purify the tainted air, calming the soul.
