Jian Ran hung up the phone after her shower and was about to go see Gu Mochen and Tang Bao when she saw Gu Mochen's tall figure standing in front of her, getting ready to open the door.
Jian Ran's beautiful eyes widened in surprise. It felt as though there was some kind of telepathy between her and Gu Mochen—they always seemed to be doing the same thing.
"Um, I was just thinking of looking for you. Where's Tang Baobao?"
"I've turned out the lights already and left a night lamp on. She's sleeping soundly."
Upon hearing this, Jian Ran nodded. With Gu Mochen around, she sometimes felt redundant.
