The chainsaw tried to grind down into Alina's saber, sure, the sword was thick and strong, but how long could it last against what appeared to be a cybernetic wolf? With her whole strength, Alina parried the chainsaw.
She then nodded her head and tried to use a spell. If everything was the same, using Blitz would be as easy as using Bloody Swing. She gazed at the grass right next to her and thought of using the spell. In the blink of an eye, she teleported to the patch of grass located next to her.
"Talking about conveniences," Alina pulled her pistol out of her pocket and shot it at the wolf. The 9mm bullet only made a loud clang and a bunch of sparks. With only one bullet left, she didn't have much choice.
Realizing the futility of her firearm against the mechanized beast, she only had two choices, either rely on her magical prowess as a vampire or strike the wolf at its weak point. Neither would prove easy, but right now, she felt dumb of caring for that woman.
It charged once more, faster than before, its chainsaw tail whirring menacingly. Alina prepared her saber and did two swings of Bloody Swing toward the wolf. The wolf dodged the first horizontal arc, but the second horizontal arc hit the wolf in its knee, damaging its armor, and not much more.
We're off to a good start.
Alina used Blitz and teleported out of harm's way. The wolf then charged to her direction again, this time, the chainsaw was whirling even harder and it was glowing red hot. Did the robot just change its power mode? Unsure of the attack, Alina chose to Blitz even farther. She moved from one spot to another in that opening.
Alina prepared another Bloody Swing, but the wolf was swift, too swift. It made an unprecedented move by throwing its chainsaw tail at Alina, a deceptive move that caught Alina off-guard.
The chainsaw grazed her knee, leaving a deep gash that seared with pain. She stumbled, her focus momentarily broken, which the wolf seized as an opportunity. It lunged, its metallic jaws aimed at her midsection. Reacting instinctively, Alina used Blitz to teleport a short distance away.
The wolf bit down with intensity, creating a spark between its two jaws.
"Engaging combat protocol B," the wolf added.
That's not a good thing. Pausa Doloris.
Alina put her hand on top of the wound on her knee. In seconds, the pain disappeared before she teleported a significant distance away from the wolf. She jumped thrice to gain more distance away from the wolf.
With her sword, she then prepared another Bloody Swing. As the wolf charged toward her, she swung her sword five times, creating a bunch of large arcs that were unavoidable by the wolf itself.
The first arc sliced through the air, cutting into the wolf's leg's armor and exposing more of its vulnerable circuitry beneath, but failed to damage it. The rest of the swings hit the wolf in multiple parts, including its head. However, nothing happened.
The wolf picked up the chainsaw from the ground and began to charge back to Alina again, much more ferociously this time. All of a sudden, the wolf launched a bunch of knives thrown in Alina's direction. Using Blitz, she once again teleported out of harm's way.
The blades stroked the trees behind her, the knives flew almost like a bullet. Those knives also melted like thermite, burning the trees with its sheer intense heat. Alina looked at the burning tree in horror, but she must focus herself on the charging wolf.
Just before she used her blitz to dodge away from the wolf, suddenly, nothing happened. She looked immediately at her watch, the red bar was simply gone, with only the blue element left on her watch. She ran out of BP. It was still recharging.

For fuck sake.
Caught off guard, the wolf took the opportunity, and using its sharp claw, the wolf used its metallic claws and clawed at Alina. Alina tried blocking the claw attack with her sword, but the wolf attacked in a barrage, outspending Alina easily.
One vicious swipe bypassed her saber, striking her directly across the abdomen. The force of the impact was immense, the claws tearing through her armor and flesh. Pain erupted across her midsection with blood splattered on the grass.
Alina groaned in pain as she flinched from the attack. Sensing her weakness, the robotic wolf prepared for another attack, its mechanical limbs whirring with deadly intent. Knowing that her blood spell wouldn't work, she used Pausa Doloris again to block the pain, buying her more time.
"Endure," she whispered to herself while grinning her teeth, waiting for the blood point to finally regenerate. She used regeneration on her body, intending to close her wound. As the bar finally refilled a bit, she then used the moment to run away.
The wolf chased her down relentlessly, then, Alina gazed towards the nearest tree leaves. She then used Blitz to teleport to the tree top. She then took a breath, looking at the wolf stopping right near the tree.
"Damn, what a wolf," Alina said, looking at the wolf right below her.
She looked at her watch, waiting for the red bar to finally fill up. It regenerated slowly, but steadily while the wolf stood near the tree. With its tail chainsaw, it cut the tree trunk meticulously.

With a focused intensity, she teleported to the ground beside the mechanical beast, utilizing Blitz with another follow-up combo. At a close range, she then used her Bloody Swing and created an arc of blood toward the wolf, cutting up its tail and splitting the chainsaw in half.
She then blitzed again to another tree. Waiting for her Blood Point to recharge. She then smiled in satisfaction, but something caught her attention more, the sudden nausea and her paleness. She then looked at her abdomen, blood was leaking out.
"Shit, this thing won't let me go, will it?" Alina thought to herself, putting her hand on her bloody stomach. "Either kill it quick or risk dying from hypovolemia." She either waited for her blood point to regen again or immediately used Hostia Reconstructio.
Then, all of a sudden, the wolf's bloody glowed red. Steam was coming out of his body, but she wasn't sure on what happened. However, the robotic voice that followed gave her the answer.
"INITIATING EMERGENCY PROTOCOL!"
Alina watched in disbelief as the mechanical beast defied nature, scaling the tree with its claws as easily as a spider traversing its web. The sight was terrifying. With her Blood Points dangerously low and her body screaming in protest, she feared for her death.
However, if she did nothing, the wolf would kill her easily.
In a moment fueled by sheer desperation, Alina took a leap of faith from the tree, saber clutched tightly in her grasp. Time seemed to slow as she descended, targeting the cybernetic wolf climbing the tree.
With determination, she executed a powerful swing toward the wolf's legs, severing them with a critical blow. The mechanical beast collapsed with a metallic thud, while Alina, too, made a hasty, ungraceful landing on the forest floor.
"Did I manage to end it?" she wondered aloud, her breath ragged, her pulse racing in a futile attempt to mitigate the severe blood loss she was enduring.
However, the fight was far from over. The wolf's eyes intensified to a deeper shade of red, ominously signaling its next attack. Suddenly, a beam of red light, sharp and focused, shot towards her.
Alina, relying on instinct more than thought, activated Blitz to escape, but not swiftly enough to avoid the laser entirely. It pierced her abdomen clean, reopening wounds and adding fresh agony to her battered body.
Light-headed from the pain and loss, Alina marveled at her survival. If she were a regular human, she should have died by now. The now-disabled wolf presented an easier target, a small mercy in the brutal confrontation.
Alina, drawing upon every last reserve of her strength and BP, prepared for the final blow. She channeled all her remaining power into her sword. She blitzed toward the wolf and swung her sabers against its head with two bloody swings.
"NOW DIE!"
The arc of blood energy met the wolf squarely, severing critical connections and finally penetrating its central processing unit. The wolf's eyes died down immediately.

"Fucking hell," Alina's legs shook as she lost her last remaining energy to stand up. She lost too much blood.
All of a sudden, she smelled something. Something savory. Something that she would smell like a plate of good steak or a freshly cooked smoked rib with potato and herbs. She then looked at the source of the smell.
A bright red aura enveloped a woman.
The same woman she just rescued.
Who just stood motionless, crying and in fear.
Alina's mouth was watering, and her mind was only focused on one thing.
"That some nice neck she got there."
