Chapter 16 - Becoming closer with the group
The astounding beauty goddesses who were terrific in looks, were just as terrific in battles.
Hilgamech could arrive at this once the vision changed again.
On vast battlegrounds, only two of them fought a great multitude of adversaries. They disdainfully canceled out hundreds of towering and enormous, myriad-energy-bound attacks, before sending out theirs which instantly annihilated hundreds of these mighty and fearsome, unbound-destructive-potency-radiating figures and entities.
The woman embellished in white pointed at them, then abruptly, millions of symbols appeared in space.
Each of these symbols—hundred times larger than a small planet, were individually formed from a type of cultivation energy in the Realmverse, revealing her massively astounding level of understanding of diverse Originforce Energies. But at the stage she was, they weren't Originforce energies, but Grand Primordial Originforce Energies.
These exceedingly massive symbols merged, transforming into a vast sea of dazzlingly radiant, terrifying supreme swords that shot out at extreme speeds—thousand times the speed of light towards her targeted vicious challengers.
Each swords—deep azure in color which composed the frightening, colossal sword sea, individually spanned hundreds of millions of kilometers in both length and width. And they were extremely sharp that each one continuously gave off world-clusters-annihilating auras of endless, unfathomable sharpness.
This seemingly unbound, vast sea of swords impacted the thousands of godlike challengers, turning them, as well as the large armies of frightening ancient beasts that fought alongside them to barely visible pieces. And who were these beings? They were powerful entities that could easily tank the devastating explosions of a thousand large suns at point-blank range.
The young girl beside the white-gowned woman, had her hands suddenly glow in scarlet. Then she clenched it into a fist.
Immediately, dark scarlet flame erupted from this luminescent fist, radiating supernatural heat—a high level of uncanny heat that would turn numerous worlds to ashes in a flash.
Once she punched out with this eerily glowing and violently burning fist, an enormous, dark scarlet fist of diabolical fiery energy that glittered lustrously like polished diamond and spanned millions of kilometers in both length and width, instantly weaved itself into existence before shooting off in that same moment with boundless ire and massive velocity towards the already-oppressed targets.
It exploded on impact with thousand other terrifying counter-attacks, causing a near-boundless sea of raging and vehement, multiple-planets-incinerating dark scarlet flame to surface.
This unbounded sea of dark scarlet flame raged in all directions, seemingly with the surging sinister intent to burn everything caught in its path to crisp.
Out of horror that sent his mind reeling—as it was too real to him, he was immediately knocked out of the vision.
Profusely sweating where he was seated in the cross-legged position, Hilgamech instantly opened his eyes. He however had an absent-minded gaze.
He was endlessly and massively awed by their great powers, but he was thinking of that epitome of peak beauty and flawless perfection that he subconsciously called mother.
The image of that woman was now deeply engraved in his mind and soul that no storm would be capable of eroding it. It would stay with him forever.
He didn't know why, but he suddenly longed for her. He couldn't explain it, but he felt this woman was absolutely the person that gave birth to him.
What was she doing in that place fighting a great number of majesty-exuding, non-human beings? And who were those people by the way, where did they come from? He couldn't find an explanation to these and could only shake his head in resignation.
Then a thought quickly surfaced in his mind, "Is that caped, heroic man that I often dreamt about my father, and that woman my mother?"
He however quickly snuffed out the flame of this thought as swiftly as it kindled in his mind.
He couldn't think of that possibility. He shouldn't be in a Mortalverse if truly they were his parent. These people were gods and goddesses, and incredibly imposing, magnificent god-beings like that, only lived in Godverses. Besides, his uncle had once told him that his parent were only affluent mortals who died in a tragic accident. So this thought further reinforced his conviction that they couldn't be his parent.
It was just impossible no matter how hard he thought about it. But it still remained a mystery to him why he looked like the male-child version of that excessively beautiful woman.
After his absent eyes regained awareness, he smiled and stood up. Then he said to the people who looked at him with curious expressions etched on their faces, "I have fully recovered. Let's go."
Then they began to move forward in search of the blue crystal lily.
Since their entry into the cave dug at the foot of the massive mountain, they hadn't covered as little as ten percent of the outskirt region of the unfathomably deep cave that had hundreds of complex labyrinthine routes.
After walking for many minutes and discussing on many things, the friendship between Hilgamech and the students from the Myriad Horizon Academy became tighter.
Now, he knew where many of them lived, especially Nalgorria, and what family she came from. Likewise she. She knew were Hilgamech lived and about his uncle.
She and the others were shocked to the extreme when they heard that his uncle was the owner of the vast Thellgarr Estate.
They had all heard a lot about him from their parents, as they were kids from wealthy families that ran many chains of business.
Their families always spoke of Thellgarr with fear in their eyes, and utmost respect in their voice, as if he would be able to perceive if anyone spoke ill or in a disrespectful tone about him.
Thellgarr Estate was known by many from far as a place that all its buildings were many times grander than the stately abode of a City Lord.
The owner of the estate who was known to be Hilgamech's uncle, was extremely rich. He had many large, juggernaut business organizations in hundred cities in the state and outside the state.
However, he was deeply feared because he was immensely powerful. His strength was fathomed to be the total of the entire strength of ten grand academies. But how wrong they were.
Hilgamech never knew a thing about his uncle. He had always been kept in the mansion like he was on home arrest. He had never stepped out of the mansion for once in his life. So, he never knew anything about his uncle's terrific power and ruthlessness beyond their immense, stately home.
Beside, he had always seen his uncle as a lazy, low-rank cultivator, but as one that was vastly knowledgeable since he read a lot, essentially because he wanted to know more about the world and everything in it.
However, he was very wrong about this, as his uncle was something that even what he's called would tremendously terrify him.
He didn't know that behind that likable and endearing, radiant smile of his which he usually showed, was a heart that was full of savagery and ruthlessness, which was as a result of everything that he had been through to gain the great, horrendous, and spectacularly fascinating power that he currently possessed.
Hilgamech became utterly surprised by their gazes that held strong hints of absolute reverence. But he didn't ask them anything concerning the puzzling change in the way they looked at him. And not liking the way he was being looked at—since it caused his heart to cry out nervously within him, he adroitly swerved to a new and engaging topic. Then they began to converse on many other interesting things as they walked from one cavern route to the other.
