Chapter 20 - Parisian Proposal

Chapter 20

"Parisian Proposal"

Jasmine was over the moon when her boyfriend, Ryan, proposed to her on a romantic getaway to Paris. She had been waiting for this moment for what felt like an eternity, and it was everything she had dreamed of and more.

As soon as she said yes, Ryan placed the most beautiful diamond ring on her finger, and they shared a kiss as the Eiffel Tower twinkled in the background. Jasmine felt like she was on cloud nine, and she couldn't wait to share the news with her friends and family.

Zibah and Alex were the first to know, and they were beyond thrilled for their dear friend. They immediately started making plans for a celebratory dinner and engagement party.

Jasmine was beaming with happiness as she showed off her ring and shared every detail of the proposal with Zibah and Alex. They listened with huge smiles, oohing and ahhing over the romantic gestures Ryan had made.

As they raised their glasses in a toast to the happy couple, Zibah said, "We're so honored to have been a part of your journey, Jasmine. You deserve all the happiness in the world, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for you and Ryan."

Jasmine's engagement party was a night to remember, filled with laughter, tears, and plenty of champagne. Zibah and Alex were by her side every step of the way, helping with the planning and making sure everything was perfect.

As they danced the night away, Jasmine turned to her friends and said, "I'm so grateful for you both. You've been my rock through thick and thin, and I can't imagine navigating this new chapter without you."

Zibah and Alex hugged her tight, knowing that their friendship was a treasure that would last a lifetime. And as they looked at Jasmine, shining bright with happiness, they knew that this was just the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her life.

Jasmine couldn't contain her excitement as she dialed Alex's number. She had been waiting for what felt like an eternity for Ryan to propose, and finally, the moment had arrived!

"Alex! Oh my god, I have the most amazing news!" Jasmine squealed as soon as Alex answered.

"What is it, Jazz? You're killing me with suspense!" Alex replied, laughing.

"Ryan proposed! I'm engaged!" Jasmine exclaimed, her voice trembling with happiness.

Alex let out a loud shriek of delight. "Ahhh, congratulations, Jasmine! I'm beyond thrilled for you! When did it happen? Tell me everything!"

Jasmine giggled, reliving the romantic moment. "We were in Paris, and he took me to the Eiffel Tower. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! It was perfect, Alex."

Zibah, who was on speakerphone, chimed in, "Oh, Jasmine, that's incredible! We're so happy for you, sweetie. You deserve all the happiness in the world."

The three friends chatted for hours, reliving the proposal and making plans for the wedding. They talked about dresses, venues, and guest lists, their excitement growing with every passing minute.

As they wrapped up their call, Alex said, "We need to celebrate, Jazz! Let's plan a girls' night out ASAP!"

Zibah agreed, "And we need to start planning your bachelorette party! It's going to be epic!"

Jasmine grinned, feeling grateful for her friends. "I can't wait to share this journey with you both. You're the best friends a girl could ask for!"

And with that, the three friends continued to buzz with excitement, already counting down the days until Jasmine's big day.

"Congratulations, Jasmine! We're beyond thrilled for you!" Zibah exclaimed, as she and Alex hugged Jasmine tightly.

"Thanks, guys! I'm still on cloud nine," Jasmine replied, beaming with happiness. "Ryan proposed in the most romantic way possible. I can't wait to tell you all about it!"

"Spill the details, Jazz!" Alex demanded, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Well, we were in Paris, and he took me to the Eiffel Tower. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, right as the sun was setting. It was perfect!" Jasmine gushed.

"Aww, that's so sweet!" Zibah cooed. "I'm so happy for you, Jasmine. You deserve all the happiness in the world."

"Thanks, Zibah. That means a lot coming from you," Jasmine said, smiling at her friend.

"So, when's the wedding?" Alex asked, her mind already racing with plans and ideas.

"We're thinking of having it next summer," Jasmine replied. "We want to have a small, intimate ceremony with our closest friends and family."

"That sounds beautiful," Zibah said. "We'll be there for you every step of the way, Jazz. Let us know how we can help with the planning!"

"Thanks, guys. That means a lot to me," Jasmine said, feeling grateful for her friends' support and love.

As they chatted, the three friends continued to buzz with excitement, already counting down the days until Jasmine's big day.

"I can't believe we're finally planning your wedding, Jazz!" Alex exclaimed. "It feels like just yesterday we were giggling over boys and dreaming of our futures."

"I know, it's crazy how fast time flies," Jasmine agreed. "But I'm so grateful to have you both by my side. You're more than just friends to me – you're my sisters."

"Aww, we love you too, Jazz," Zibah said, squeezing her hand. "We're going to make sure your wedding day is everything you've ever dreamed of."

"Speaking of which, have you thought about your wedding dress yet?" Alex asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"I've been browsing online, but I haven't found 'the one' yet," Jasmine admitted. "I want something classic and elegant, but also unique and reflective of my personal style."

"Well, we'll find it for you, don't worry!" Zibah said, determination in her voice. "We'll try on every dress in the city until we find the perfect one."

"And what about the venue?" Alex asked. "Have you decided on a location yet?"

"We're thinking of having it at a vineyard just outside of town," Jasmine said. "The scenery is stunning, and it has a beautiful, intimate atmosphere."

"That sounds perfect," Zibah said. "We'll make sure to bring our A-game to help you plan the most unforgettable wedding ever!"

As they continued to chat and plan, the excitement and joy in the air was palpable. Jasmine knew that with her friends by her side, her wedding day was going to be truly unforgettable.

"I'm so glad we're doing this together, guys," Jasmine said, feeling grateful for her friends' support. "I don't know what I'd do without you both."

"Aw, we're in this together, always," Alex said, smiling. "Now, let's get down to business. What's the guest list looking like?"

"Ryan and I have been working on that," Jasmine said. "We're keeping it small, just close friends and family. About 50 people total."

"Intimate and cozy, I love it," Zibah said. "And what about the food? Have you decided on a catering menu yet?"

"We're thinking of doing a buffet-style dinner with a mix of Ryan's favorite comfort foods and some elegant options for our guests," Jasmine said.

"Sounds delicious!" Alex exclaimed. "And what about music? Are you going to have a live band or a DJ?"

"We're actually thinking of having a friend of ours play acoustic guitar during the ceremony and cocktail hour," Jasmine said. "And then a DJ for the reception."

"Perfect!" Zibah said. "I can already imagine how beautiful it's all going to be."

As they continued to plan and brainstorm, the three friends were filled with excitement and joy, knowing that they were creating something truly special together.

"I'm so glad we're thinking of all the details, guys," Jasmine said, feeling relieved. "I don't want anything to slip through the cracks."

"Don't worry, Jazz, we've got your back," Alex said. "We'll make sure everything is perfect for your big day."

"And speaking of perfect, have you thought about your wedding cake yet?" Zibah asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"I've been browsing online, but I haven't decided on a flavor or design yet," Jasmine admitted.

"Well, we need to fix that!" Alex said, pulling out her phone. "Let's make an appointment at that new bakery downtown. I've heard amazing things about their cakes."

"Sounds like a plan!" Zibah said. "And while we're there, we can pick out some adorable wedding favors too."

"I love it!" Jasmine exclaimed. "You guys are the best wedding planners ever!"

As they continued to chat and plan, the three friends were filled with laughter and excitement, knowing that they were creating a truly unforgettable wedding celebration.

After a few more hours of planning, they decided to take a break and grab some lunch at a nearby café. As they sipped their coffee and munched on sandwiches, they couldn't help but feel grateful for their friendship and the joy that Jasmine's wedding brought them.

"This is what it's all about, guys," Jasmine said, smiling at her friends. "Love, friendship, and celebrating the good times together."

"Cheers to that!" Alex and Zibah said in unison, clinking their cups together in a toast.

As they finished their lunch, Alex pulled out a small gift box from her bag. "I got you something, Jazz," she said, handing it to Jasmine.

Jasmine opened the box to find a beautiful silver necklace with a tiny crystal pendant. "Oh, Alex, it's gorgeous!" she exclaimed.

"It's a little something to symbolize our friendship and to remind you of our love and support as you start this new chapter with Ryan," Alex said, smiling.

Zibah added, "And we've both got matching necklaces too, so we can all wear them on your wedding day!"

Jasmine was touched by the thoughtful gesture. "You guys are the best friends a girl could ask for. I love you both so much!"

As they hugged and continued to chat, the three friends felt a deep sense of connection and gratitude for their friendship.

After lunch, they decided to take a walk around the nearby park, enjoying the beautiful scenery and each other's company.

As they strolled, they talked about their hopes and dreams for Jasmine's future, and how excited they were to see her start this new chapter with Ryan.

"We're going to be there for you every step of the way, Jazz," Zibah said. "Through all the ups and downs, we'll be your rock, your confidantes, and your partners in crime!"

Jasmine smiled, feeling grateful for her friends' unwavering support. "I know I can count on you both, always. And I promise to be there for you guys too, no matter what."

As they walked, the three friends felt a sense of joy and contentment, knowing that their friendship was a treasure that would last a lifetime.

As they walked, they suddenly heard a voice behind them. "Hey, girls! What's all the excitement about?"

They turned to see Ariana, their other close friend, approaching them with a big smile.

"Ariana! We were just planning Jasmine's wedding and getting emotional about how much we love each other," Alex said, laughing.

Ariana's eyes lit up. "Ooh, can I join the party? I want in on the love fest!"

Jasmine grinned. "Of course, Ariana! We were just about to get some coffee and continue planning. Want to join us?"

Ariana nodded enthusiastically and the four friends walked together, arm in arm, chatting and laughing like they always did.

As they sat down at a cozy coffee shop, Ariana asked, "So, Jasmine, how's the wedding planning going? Have you decided on a dress yet?"

Jasmine shook her head. "Not yet, but we're working on it! Alex and Zibah are my official wedding planners and advisors."

Ariana smiled. "Well, you're in good hands with these two. They'll make sure your wedding is perfection."

The four friends chatted and giggled, enjoying each other's company and the excitement of the wedding planning process.

As they sipped their coffee and made plans for the next step in Jasmine's wedding journey.

As they finished their coffee, Alex pulled out a small notebook from her bag. "Okay, girls, let's get down to business. We need to finalize the wedding timeline and make sure everything is in place for the big day."

Zibah nodded, pulling out her own notebook. "I've got the vendor contacts and confirmations right here. Let's review them together."

Ariana pulled out her phone. "I've got the wedding website and social media accounts to update. What's the latest on the RSVPs, Jasmine?"

Jasmine smiled, feeling grateful for her friends' organization and attention to detail. "I've got the latest count right here. Let's go over it together."

As they worked together, the four friends were a well-oiled machine, each one bringing their unique skills and strengths to the table.

After a productive hour of planning, they took a break to grab some dinner at a nearby restaurant.

Over plates of pasta and pizza, they chatted about everything from wedding decorations to their own personal lives.

Ariana filled them in on her latest dating adventures, making them all laugh with her hilarious stories.

Zibah shared updates about her job, and Alex talked about her latest creative projects.

Jasmine listened, feeling grateful for the love and support of her friends.

As they finished dinner and prepared to part ways, Alex raised her glass. "To Jasmine and Ryan's wedding! May it be the most magical day ever!"

The others echoed the toast, clinking their glasses together in a joyful celebration of friendship and love.

As they clinked their glasses together, Jasmine felt a sense of gratitude and love for her friends. She knew that she could always count on them, no matter what.

"Thanks, guys," Jasmine said, smiling at her friends. "You're the best friends a girl could ask for. I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Aw, we're in this together, always," Alex said, smiling back at Jasmine.

"And speaking of being in this together, we need to start planning the bachelorette party!" Ariana exclaimed.

"Yes, let's do it!" Zibah said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "We'll make it a night to remember!"

The four friends chatted and laughed, already making plans for the bachelorette party.
