James, Yuriko, Lefi, and Rei arrived in the new world. As their feet hit the unfamiliar ground, both Rei and Yuriko wobbled, struggling to find their balance. The sudden shift between realms had disoriented them, and their knees buckled slightly, about to give way.
With quick reflexes, James reached out, catching both of them by the arms. He pulled them close to prevent them from falling. Their breasts touched his chest. He smiled.
"Easy there," James said.
Rei blinked, her face flushed slightly, regaining her footing. "Thanks," she muttered. Her heart raced as she saw herself hugging him.
Yuriko clutched her head and took a deep breath, as James held her. "Ugh, I didn't expect the world to spin like that," she said, She steadied herself with James's help and smiled softly at him, grateful for his support.
Lefi, stood unfazed by the transition. The ancient dragon girl had no trouble maintaining her composure. Her long silver hair fluttered in the soft breeze as she gracefully folded her arms.
They looked at the surroundings and saw a large city in front of them. The city sprawled out. Towering skyscrapers pierced the sky. The streets bustled with life, a constant flow of people hurrying to and from work. Cars and buses moved in orderly lines, while the occasional honk or shout. Between the skyscrapers, smaller office buildings, shops, and cafes dotted the landscape. Neon signs flashed advertisements for various goods and services. They saw people in suits, casual wear, and everything in between, while cyclists weaved between them on dedicated bike paths.
"This looks like a normal city," Rei remarked.
"Before it went down back home," Yuriko added.
"Are they going to attack here?" Rei asked.
"No, the Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill has been signed so there is an agreement between the various species and humans," James explained.
"Interesting," Yuriko said.
"The current wording does not allow intimate relationships however," James said.
"Let me guess we are going to change that," Rei replied.
"Yes and I think I have the perfect idea," James said.
He opened the faceplate. He saw the silhouette of a large dragon. It had large, imposing horns. A huge body with massive wings. It was positioned on all fours. "Next time," James muttered to himself. He turned the faceplate to see the silhouette of a large muscular man with a big chest. He looked like he had a six-pack. His hair was in a ponytail. His lower body looked like a cloud of mist. He smiled and slammed down the faceplate.
His body was engulfed in a brilliant, pulsating light. The air crackled with energy. James' body distorted, his limbs elongated. In a surge of radiant energy, James` features reshape. His fingers morphed into three large fingers. His black hair tied into a ponytail. His chin got larger and he grew a beard. His chest got larger and a six pack formed. James`s skin turned green. He wore a red sash and gold earring. His pants became green as well. The Ultimatrix symbol appeared on his chest.
"Genie," Genie said.
Lefi, Rei and Yuriko saw James had transformed into a ;large green muscular man. They could see it was James but not James.
"A new one," Rei remarked. She thought she had not seen this one before.
"Thou seems strong," Lefi said. She could feel a unique aura around him. It was different. She felt like it was on a different level.
"He is hunky," Yuriko commented as she saw his bulky body.
"That he is," Rei agreed. Lefi nodded.
"I mean," Rei tried to say.
Genie smiled. "I wish for the Interspecies Protection Act, to include an amendment to include James Everhart as the test case to have intimate and close relationships with the monster species. This includes having a harem and making babies," Genie said.
Rei, Yuriko and Lefi looked at him as he said those words. "My daughter is going to have more competition," Yuriko said.
"We knew that," Rei agreed.
A blinding green light engulfed the world. The very ground beneath them trembled violently, as if the earth itself was reacting to the energy surge. The intensity of the moment stretched on, the light pulsing and growing, until suddenly, it vanished. The world fell into a deep, unsettling silence and then back to normal. The sounds of cars and trucks came back to life.
Then, without warning, a sharp red flash started to appear on the Ultimatrix. The familiar sound of the Ultimatrix timing out followed. In a burst of red light, Genie's towering form dissipated, shrinking down into the all-too-human form of James.
"This is... interesting," James muttered to himself. He glanced at the Ultimatrix, which was red. He'd never seen this before. He thought, did the transformation really use that much power?
"James, are you okay?" Rei asked.
James smiled back. "I am, the Ultimatrix, might have used more power. This form might have more to it. We should be careful using it," James responded.
"Verily, I dost agree, it hath the power to alter reality," Lefi said.
"Interesting, let's keep this in mind, it might bring more trouble," Yuriko said.
"Shall we proceed?" Lefi asked, looking at James expectantly.
James nodded. "Let's move forward. We now need to buy a house and we should meet our first monster girl," James replied.
"We have the money," Rei said.
"Lefi, you might want to hide your tail and horns for now,"Yuriko said.
"I think monster girls will be a common sight here so you will fit here fine," James responded.
As James, Yuriko, Rei, and Lefi stepped into the bustling city, its towering skyscrapers cast long shadows across the streets. The sound of distant car horns and the hum of city life surrounded them.
"Let us begin our search," James said, gesturing toward a nearby real estate office.
"Can we just buy a house today? Rei asked.
"We have gold so we can use it to buy a house," James responded.
"But won't they be suspicious?" Rei asked.
"They could be but if we offer them the right amount of gold, we can take it," James responded.
"It does have the power," Yuriko replied. "The worst case is we exchange it," Yuriko added.
James led them into the real estate office, a sleek modern space with large windows and a minimalist interior. The agent, a young woman with a professional smile, greeted them warmly. "How can I assist you today?" she asked.
"We're looking for a house," James said. "Something spacious, secure, and comfortable for a... large family."
The agent nodded, quickly pulling up a list on her tablet. "I have a few properties that might interest you. Are you looking for a place within the city, or perhaps something in the quieter suburbs?"
Yuriko interjected, "Something with space, but not too far from the city. We need access to resources, but privacy is also a priority."
Rei nodded in agreement. "And something with a large garden or outdoor space would be ideal."
Lefi, still adjusting to this world, added, "Mayhap a place with tall ceilings and ample light, where one might stretch their wings."
"She is just kidding," James remarked.
The agent blinked but recovered quickly. "Of course. I believe I have just the thing," she responded.
After a short drive, they arrived at a beautiful, modern home located on the edge of the city. It was a sleek, multi-story house with glass walls that opened to a large garden. The house was surrounded by tall trees, offering both privacy and a connection to nature despite its proximity to the urban center.
James walked through the house, inspecting the rooms. "This could work," he said, nodding to Yuriko.
Rei was drawn to the large kitchen and large rooms. Lefi explored the high ceilings and spacious living areas, noting how easily she could move around without feeling confined.
"This place is perfect," Rei said with a smile, turning to James.
"Thou art certain this be the one?" Lefi asked, her eyes glowing with approval as she gazed around.
James nodded. "Yes. This will be our home," James responded.
Yuriko smiled faintly. "It's good. We can all settle here," Yuriko said.
"Then it is settled," James said, shaking hands with the real estate agent. "We'll take it but we only have gold to pay for this, however we will give you a large commission," James added.
"That is fine, we can make this work," the female agent responded. As they finalized the paperwork, the sun sets behind the city skyline, casting the house in a warm, golden light.
"So what now?" Rei asked.
At that moment, they heard the doorbell ring.
