James, Takashi and Hisashi walked down another corridor. The girls had gone elsewhere.
Takashi had picked up a baseball bat from one of the open lockers. Hisashi found a pipe on the floor which looked like it was being repaired, however it was not complete. "Looks like you two have temporary weapons," James remarked.
"It will do," Takashi replied as he held the bat resting on his shoulder.
"I still don't like how we split with the girls," Hishashi remarked.
"Like we said, we cover more ground to find the nurse of this school, " James replied. He added, "Besides they all are strong and capable."
"That they are," Takashi agreed. He knew Rei and Saya were strong. The red-haired women looked capable while the brown princess woman seemed sensible. He knew they would keep them safe. He looked at James, he still did not know who exactly he was.
James had the Ray Gun and he pointed it in the air, ready to put down when needed.
"That gun," Takashi said. He added, "It is unique." The gun had a metallic surface with an eerie luminescence. The barrel elongated. It made a distinct noise every so often.
"This is the Porter's X2 Ray Gun, named after the creator. A power weapon which I managed to acquire," James explained.
Hisashi glanced out the window and nearly choked on his own breath. The world outside was in chaos. The once lush green grass was now a patchwork of bloodstained earth and torn flesh. The playground, which had once been filled with laughter and joy, was now a graveyard for the fallen. The students, his classmates, his friends, were running for their lives, trying to escape the relentless horde of zombies that was slowly closing in on them. He felt a shiver down his spine as he took in the gruesome sight before him."Looks horrible out there," Hisashi remarked.
Taskashi looked at the window and saw a young girl wearing her P.E outfit. Her athletic T-shirt clung to her frame. The sports shorts hitting mid-thigh. Her running shoes, laces neatly tied, and A sweatband around her wrist. Takashi saw she was being surrounded by the zombies. The zombie grabbed her by the arm, tearing through her flesh with ease, and pulled her closer. The others follow suit, swarming around her like a pack of ravenous wolves. Within seconds, they have her pinned to the ground, their putrid breath washing over her face as they tear into her body. Takashi looked in disgust and felt hopeless. He saw James looking at something else.
James looked down the corridor. He sees a group of zombies approaching them slowly. Their movements were jerky and uncoordinated. Their skin was pale and gray, their lips and fingernails tinged with blue. Their eyes were vacant, staring forward with a blank expression. The air around them felt heavy with the scent of decay.
James aimed his Ray Gun. He looked down at the sight. He pressed the triggers. The gun fired a red energy blast at the zombies. The splash damage of the gun was effective in that it hit all the zombies together and they exploded. Their bodies exploded into a grotesque mess of flesh and bone, leaving behind a trail of gore and shattered glass. The blood splattered onto the lockers.
Hisashi felt sick seeing the mess in front of him. He was about to throw up but controlled it.
"That is no ordinary gun," Takashi muttered. He knew it from just looking at it but that confirmed it. The red ray and the damage it did was something out of a movie.
"Let's keep moving forward," James stated.
Takashi nodded. He looked at Hisashi, who was slightly green. "Get hold of yourself," Takashi said.
James looked behind and saw Hisashi's cheeks puffed. "Takashi is right, it's going to get a lot rougher before it gets better. Try not to look too much," James tried to assure. James did not care about them, his focus was elsewhere. He remembered the Harem Rules, which worked out for him and he should leave them but he could not just let them die.
They continue forward. James fired another shot from his Ray Gun. The beam hits the zombie in the head and it explodes as he drops to the ground. Hisashi saw the missing skull.
Takashi stayed near James, keeping his flank and back secured. He thought there was no need to rush in. James fires again from the Ray Gun, hitting another group of students. Like before their body once hit erupted, in a grotesque fusion of sinew and shattered bone. There were exposed organs from the aftermath. Hisashi's mind could not focus.
James's gaze snapped upward, catching sight of the sign of a bold red cross sticking out against the white wall. His smile was fleeting, adrenaline coursing through his veins. Without hesitation, he sprinted toward the open door, weapon raised. Inside, he saw two women.
James saw a woman with straight and shiny thigh-length purple hair that has a triangular fringe at the front. Her eyes had black pupils. Her lips were pink. She was quite tall and had relatively long arms. Her legs were long. She had a narrow waist and wore a long green skirt. She had worn a white uniform with a green at the top near her shoulders. The woman had a wooden sword in her hand.
He looked at the other woman. She was a tall buxom woman with ridiculous curves. James noted her humongous breasts. She had waist-length blonde hair that had several bangs coming down into her face, two bangs coming down at the sides running all the way down that also framed her face. She had hazel eyes. She had long sexy legs and a nice waist. Her butt was nice and round. She wore a white dress shirt and a brown skirt.
The purple haired woman slashes a zombie with her wooden sword. Another two break the window. Their faces were purple and their eyes had red pupils. They had a demonic look. James aimed his Ray Gun and fired at the two zombies. The red beam went towards the two zombies and hit them both. They both exploded. Their guts went scattered across the room.
James approached them. "Are you both okay?" James asked. He smiled.
"Thank you for helping us," the purple-haired girl replied. She looked at this person. He may be a little older than her however she had never seen him. She thought there was an aura around him. She noted, his weapon was different.
"We are but who are you?" the blonde woman asked. She looked a little dazed by what was going on. She looked at the man, he was certainly charming.
"My name is James and I thought you both would need my help," James replied. He smiled at them.
"I am Saeko Busujima," Saeko introduced herself, bowing down.
" I am Shizuka Marikawa," Shizuka said.
"It's a pleasure to meet you both beautiful ladies, I feel like I am the honored one," James remarked. Shizuka smiled, he is a naughty one. Saeko did not look interested.
"Saeko, it looks like you are good with swords, I have a special knife which you can use, " James added. Her expression changed.
"A knife and a sword are different weapons," Saeko replied.
"That they are but in your lovely hands it will be perfect for you for now," James said. He added, "I will give it to you shortly, with the others right now."
"Could you stop your flirting and get what we came for," Takashi shouted as he ran into the room.
"I was getting to that," James replied. He is a bit annoying.
He approached Shizuka. He looked her into her eyes. "We need your help," James stated.
Shizuka could smell something strong from him. It had a pleasant smell. She smiled. "I am happy to help," she replied.
"Good, we have guns but very limited ammunition, there is a rumor that your flatmate has a pile of guns which we can use," James said.
Shizuka thought for a moment. She put her finger on her cheeks. "Yeah she did say something like that," Shizuka replied.
James knew she was smart but can be a little lazy at times. "Okay, let's go, if we stick together our chances to survive are higher, let's meet up with the girls," James declared.
Saeko smiled. A leader, she thought. Her heart skipped a beat.
