A bright light engulfed them. James saw visions of different realities. He saw a flash, of a large brown titan fighting people with small jetpacks. He saw a blonde teen girl wearing a blue jumpsuit controlling a mech. He saw someone with a small green eye, big bust and long pink flowing hair. He thought the multiverse was truly open to him.
Suddenly they were thrown into reality. James' vision was slightly blurry. He looked down to see a large glass pad beneath his feed. His vision slowly cleared. James looked in shock.
In the lobby there were several Nazi flags. One flag was located on the left side of the wall completely covering it. There was another flag on the table. There was a broken door where the top half was gone. The room had a large gold chandelier. The exit was blocked by several large objects. The lobby had two sets of stairs on either side which went to the first floor. The first floor had a wooden balcony looking at the ground floor.
James looked to the right and saw a small, dark turquoise and white machine. On the front of the machine it read, "Quick Revive." Under it, there was a white compartment. There was a bloody handprint on the machine. The machine had white bubbles on it. On the top of the machine was a circle with the figure of man. "YOU NEED A LITTLE REVIVE!!!" was heard from the machine.
"Kino der Toten," James muttered to himself.
"Kino?" Lois asked in confusion. She looked in horror at this place. It looked abandoned with no signs of life.
"Lois," James said as he hugged her. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a tight hug.
"James," Lois giggled. "I am here," she added. He felt strong, she thought.
"Where are we?" she asked.
James let go of her. "Not good," James replied.
He held the Multiverse Remote out. He saw there was an error message. "Travel Unsuccessful. Reboot with Mainframe Link and Teleporter." James`s eyes widened at the message.
"This is not good," James added with a note of concern.
"What's wrong?" Lois inquired, her curiosity piqued by the hint of unease in James's voice.
"Lois grab a weapon and get ready and give me the Desert Eagle," James ordered.
"But," Lois uttered, her expression reflecting her perplexity at the abrupt turn of events.
"Lois, please trust me," James urged.
Lois nodded, she opened the suitcase. She picked up the Desert Eagle and gave it to James. She went back to the suitcase and picked an M4 Carbine. "Thank you," James replied.
James looked at the Desert Eagle. It has a large frame. The handgun's barrel was chrome-lined. It had a gas-operated, rotating bolt mechanism. James smiled at it.
Lois got ready with her M4. "Lois, get ready; we're about to face a zombie onslaught," James declared.
"Zombies?" Lois questioned, her disbelief evident in the furrow of her brow.
"Yes zombies, this is an unexpected turn of events, we were going to face them but not these ones and not now," James explained.
"Uuuurrrr," a voice was heard.
"There they are," James said. He smiled. This was a set-back but not the end of the world. The goddess may has something to do with it. However, that does not matter now.
"Grrrhhhh," another voice was heard. The voices got louder. They both turned around to the broken door on the right. They saw a man. His clothes were tattered and torn. The garments hang loosely on his body. There were patched on the clothes which revealed rotting flesh beneath. He was wearing a military uniform which consisted of black pants, black shirt and belt. There was the distinct Nazi flag on his arm.
"Here they come," James said. He held the gun out. He closed one eye and aimed the gun. He fired. The Desert Eagle had some kick in her, he thought. He tried to control it. The bullet went through the air and missed the zombie.
James fired again. He pressed the trigger. The bullet went flying through the air and missed. He fired a third time and this time it hit his chest. There was some blood leaked from this chest but it kept walking. Lois saw this and aimed her M4. She held the correct position. She got onto one knee and fired a single bullet. The bullet hit the zombie in the head and it went down.
"Was that your first time firing a gun?" Lois asked.
"Just a little rusty, but not to worry. Take this gun," James said as he handed the gun over.
"It is hero time," James said. He always wanted to say that. He hit the faceplate of the Ultimatrix. He turned the wheel. He saw Swampfire`s silhouette. "Perfect," James said. He slammed the faceplate down.
His body was engulfed in a brilliant, pulsating light. The air crackled with energy. James' body distorted, his limbs elongated. In a surge of radiant energy, James` features reshape, and his form took on a colossal, imposing stature. His height increased, his limbs became more robust, and his head changed into a massive, reptilian head.
"Humungousaur," James yelled.
James had transformed into a green-eyed reptilian humanoid. It was mainly brown. It had large broad shoulders. Its arms were thick and muscular. It had strong legs and black toenails. There was the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.
"Wow," Lois said in shock.
"I am still me," Humungousaur replied. This voice was deep.
There was another zombie coming out of the barrier. Humungousaur ran up and punched the zombie in the head. It went flying back and hit the wall. Its eyes stopped glowing.
"Such strength," Lois remarked.
"I am strong," Humungousaur chuckled. He looked down to see a shotgun on the floor. It was a double-barreled shotgun with a large brown buck.
"Olympia," Humungousaur noted.
Lois approached Humungousaur. She saw he was looking on the ground. "A gun," she observed.
"Yes, there might be one upstairs as well," Humungousaur said and added, "Put this one in the bag as well, it looks like it is in good condition."
Lois saw a zombie coming from the stairs. She aimed her M4 and fired a bullet. She hit the zombie in the head and it died. It fell down the stairs. "We have better guns James," Lois said.
"We do, but it's free and we only need to carry them around to one place and then we teleport," James explained.
Lois nodded, she moved her way up the stairs slowly. She looked right to see a broken wall. There was no zombie. She moved across the first floor and saw another gun on the floor. Lois approached it. The gun was a semi-automatic rifle. It had a brown body, a long thin barrel. Lois picked up the gun and put it in her bag. She then looked down to see James fight some zombies.
While Lois went to grab the gun, Humungousaur walked across the lobby to get closer to the Quick-Revive machine. He got closer when a zombie jumped the barrier and walked towards him. Humungousaur punched the zombie in the face and he went flying across the room and hit the wall. His eyes stopped glowing. A second zombie walked towards Humungousaur. He used his tail and struck him. The zombie got hit and hit the wall. His eyes also stopped glowing.
Lois made her way down the stairs and they both met up. Humungousaur thought maybe he could move the machine. He grabbed the Quick-Revive Machine and yanked it out. He held it in his arms and moved it. "Success," Humungousaur noted.
"Why are you moving it?" Lois asked.
"We can take these with us," Humungousaur said. At that moment, the symbol on his chest started flashing red. He put the machine down and transformed back into his human form.
"James," Lois uttered.
"And that, my dear, is the power of the Ultimatix," James proclaimed.
"Wow," Lois marveled.
James deftly pressed a button on the machine, and a lively jingle resonated in the air. "YOU NEED A LITTLE REVIVE!!!" The machine responded by dispensing a bottle of vibrant blue liquid, which James swiftly grabbed.
"Is that a good idea?" Lois queried, a hint of concern in her voice.
"Usually you should not take a drink from an unknown place, however this is the expectation from these machines," James answered. He grabbed the bottle, opened the cap and drank the blue liquid down. It tasted horrible. He put the bottle down.
Lois looked in horror that he just drank it. "Are you okay?" Lois asked.
James paused for a second. His body did not feel any different. He felt the same however he knew he got something out of it. His instincts were telling me this. "I am fine," James replied with a smile.
He pressed the button again and another bottle appeared. "Take one," James offered. Lois hesitated for a second.
"Do you trust me?" James asked.
"I do," Lois replied as she grabbed the bottle and drank it. It tasted awful.
"Yuk," Lois said.
"Keep it in," James said and added, "This bottle has a mystery power, we will take it with us."
"Using the remote?" Lois asked.
"Yes, well, we need to get to a teleporter there, however the door is locked so we need to go around, we will keep this here and come back for it," James explained.
"Also, I have the gun," Lois said as she turned around and showed her back.
"Okay, we can put it in the suitcase for now," James replied.
Lois nodded. "Lois, give me the Desert Eagle back, there is a timer on this," Jame said. She took the gun out of her pocket and gave it to James. She walked over back to the suitcase, she saw a zombie jumping the barrier. She aimed her gun and shot him in the head. The zombie died.
Lois put the gun away and zipped the suitcase. She walked back to James. "Let's go upstairs," James said. They both headed upstairs and saw a closed door. "Uuuurrrr," a voice was heard behind them. They saw a zombie leaping out of the window. Lois aimed her gun and shot him in the head.
"Impressive for sure," James said. He went back and touched the door. He pushed them with his strength and opened it.
