It was a cold night, The atmosphere clouded in a red hue as the earth itself seemed to be duller.
The named one, The supposed savior of the world....he gave up...the world was a lost cause. The abyss crawlers were already devouring the very core of the world as the plants and foliage already were loosing color.
How did this star you may ask yourself...well its started like this
*A few weeks ago*
After sealing the rift that led to the abyss the named one had successfully stopped the invasion of their world but at a heavy cost of many lives that dies while the rift was open. He had called for help ofcourse but no one came. The almighty elemental spirits who has nei endless power watched from the side lines as millions of people dies as he fought alone...
After many grueling hours of fighting he finally stopped them and sealed the rift...He had lost much, loosing his left arm in the process but that would regrow eventually. The real loss was the people who died around him as he could not protect so many people at once but everything was fine now....right?
The "hero" returned to the City, still covered in blood and scared from the battle but when he was expecting a warm welcome he instead was welcomed with the glares and shouts of the citizens.
shouts of "You let them die" "Its your fault" were heard in the crowd.
The hero was confused, He had saved them from impending doom no? why were they angry at him?
He was feeling anger build up in him. "I save all of you and this is what i receive as the reward?" His voice held a cold edge in.
"You caused the rift!" someone shouted in the crowd "If you never came here none of this would have happened!" another shout.
The hero finally understood...since he had stopped the abyss the masses had no one to place the blame of the loss of life on...so they chose him to blame.
The hero sighed. As he turned around and started walking away without a word. His white hair started changing color to a midnight black as his white coat that signified his connection to the world turned black slowly aswell. As he reached the gate he said in a emotionless voice, "When calamity falls again, do not expect any hero to step up to protect this world. I will make sure no one does." His voice held so much malice in it that, it froze everyone in place unable to move. The hero left and disappeared into the horizon.
