[Third Person POV]
As the match started, Ikki knew Guy wouldn't take the initiative to attack him, so he took the first step. He began with a left jab followed by a right jab. Guy decided to block them with his palms. However, when he caught the left jab, he realized the power behind it was much higher than he had anticipated. But as a veteran in fighting, he quickly adjusted his strength to take on the right jab. When the right jab connected with his palm, Guy caught Ikki's fist with a strong grip. Ikki felt the intensity of the hold. Guy anticipated that Ikki would strike with his left fist, but instead, Ikki swung his left leg from the side. Guy blocked it with his right hand, but the strength of the leg was so high that he had to release Ikki's clenched fist. Seizing this opportunity, Ikki created some distance between himself and Guy.
Guy: "Your strength is impressive. Are you using weights?"
Ikki: "Yes."
Guy: "Why don't you take them off?"
Ikki shrugged.
Ikki: "Why? This isn't a serious fight. It's just a normal spar."
Guy: "Nice, Ikki Shounen. I like you. Let's continue."
Ikki closed the distance between him and Guy again and started with a series of boxing moves: left jab, right jab. As Guy tried to catch his right fist again, Ikki pulled his left fist back halfway and threw it again. The speed of the half-fist was higher than normal punches, though it sacrificed some strength. Still, a fist is a fist. Guy began to block them. This exchange continued for about 5 seconds until Guy took a step back.
After this small exchange, Guy realized he was facing a hard worker, and this hard worker was also a genius. So he let go of the idea of just testing Ikki and decided to get a bit more serious. Not fully serious, of course—otherwise, Ikki wouldn't survive the day.
Seeing that Guy was getting serious, Ikki decided to go full throttle. He knew that standing before him was a monster in human skin. Ikki approached Guy again, starting with a left hook, a right hook, and a left leg sweep. But Guy caught the leg and tossed Ikki like a cannonball.
Ikki: "Ouch, that hurts."
Chikako: "DAMN, MAN, are you okay?"
Ikki: "Nooo."
Ikki approached Guy again, but his speed was still quite slow compared to Guy's, leading to the same result.
Ikki: "Guy-san, aren't you taking this too seriously?"
Guy: "Young Ikki, no pain, no gain."
Ikki: "Thought so. No pain, no gain." And with that, Ikki stopped the chakra flow to the seal of vest on his torso. As soon as the seal stopped working, he felt so light that he checked his body by jumping twice. Instead of his normal jump, he was able to jump twice the height. And the fight started again.
Guy saw how Ikki jumped twice the normal height and realized that Ikki had removed his weights. Ikki approached again, but this time his speed was exponentially higher. Still, it was within Guy's expectations. And after all, Guy was a Jonin. The beat down resumed. Whatever tricks or punches Ikki threw, including half-punches, were easily read and countered by Guy.
Hinari: "Isn't this supposed to be a test? Why does it look like a one-sided beat down?"
Chikako: "Ikki has caught Guy-san's eye. Guy-san has gotten serious because he recognized Ikki's strength. Ikki already passed whatever test this was, but now Guy is trying to gauge Ikki's full strength."
Hinari: "Okay, but Ikki doesn't seem to be doing well."
Chikako: "Ikki is fighting with only Taijutsu. Of course, he won't fare well against someone like Guy. He isn't using chakra either. Otherwise, this training would have become quite dangerous. The most he's using is Blade Steal, but against a much stronger opponent, it doesn't work so effectively."
The beat down continued for 5 more minutes as Guy thoroughly analyzed Ikki's Taijutsu techniques.
Guy: "Okay, let's stop."
Ikki was trying to stand up—barely managing—but when he heard those words, he gave up and collapsed face-first into the ground.
Chikako and Hinari: "Ouch."
Guy: "Chikako Shounen, take this youth to the hospital."
Chikako: "Okay, sir. Did we pass?"
Guy: "Yes, you all passed."
Guy used Shunshin no Jutsu and left the training ground. Chikako and Hinari picked up Ikki.
Hinari: "You got what you deserved." She sounded quite pleased.
Ikki: "Chikako, you'll start training Hinari in Kenbunshoku no Haki. I don't want to do it. It's boring now. It's your turn."
Chikako: "Gladly."
Hinari: "Why do You sound happy about it?"
Chikako: "Have you ever seen a punch coming at you in slow motion but been unable to do anything about it?"
Hinari: "Yes."
Chikako: "Imagine that a thousand times worse."
Ikki: "Tell your parents you're going to come home bruised from now on. Also, buy a level 1 Chakra Screw from Yamada-san's shop. Practice in a clockwise direction with it. Welcome to hell, Hinari Hyuga. Huhahaha."
[Sandaime POV]
Sitting in my office, as always. Maybe I should set up a bed here. The commute to home would be easier. One group of Uchiha is becoming a pain in both my and Fugaku's ass. Sorry for the language, but it's true. And my so-called friends aren't making things any easier for me. Why did I create the elders' council? Worst decision of my life. I heard a knock at the door.
"Come in."
Guy entered.
Guy: "Sandaime-sama, Konoha's Green Beast reporting, sir!"
He could be—no, he should be—less loud. He's nothing like a typical ninja. But his silly personality balances out Kakashi's dark personality, so all is good.
"How were the kids?"
Guy: "Sir, they're already ready for graduation."
"So they're ready to train by themselves?"
Guy: "Yes, sir. For their age group, they are quite strong. The Hyuga girl needs more practice, but the other two could already graduate."
"No, they need more time. Also, don't tell anyone about this test."
Guy: "Okay, sir. Shouldn't we assign them a trainer to guide them?"
"Are you proposing yourself?"
Guy: "No, sir. I'm already busy training my current team."
"Ikki is following his own path. His Taijutsu is already at a high level, so he'll likely give it minimal time from now on. As for the others, I'm not sure what he'll plan with the Hyuga girl. Chikako is going down a different path than most Naras."
Guy: [Curiously] "Aren't these boys quite odd?"
"Very. But this oddness gives them more strength, and I'm okay with it. I think they'll apply for graduation next year."
Guy: "Whoever becomes their sensei, he or she will have a huge surprise."
"Yes. Hehehe."
