Ash roared, lifting his shield to protect his head as he charged straight towards the splendidly armored Kael Elf Commander.
'Shoot the horse before the man, capture the king before the thieves!'
An unending barrage of arrows could only strike sparks off the shield and armor.
This scene, witnessed by the Kael Elf Commander, made him feel like he had become the target of a terrifying beast.
As Ash barreled towards him, the Commander, with great effort, suppressed the impulse to fight back and yelled to his trusted aides nearby:
"Hold him off!"
As a commander, his primary duty was to lead the command operations, and he was past the age of thirsting for hand-to-hand combat.
Of course, the Kael Elf Commander was more worried that if he lost to this fierce Gray Dwarf Warrior, it could lead to a disastrous defeat in the defense.
He could accept a heavy loss—it would be his own bad luck.
But the Raven Fortress must not fall!
