The warm sunlight could still bring an intense sting.
However, compared to before, Serra preferred the exhilarating feeling of walking under the sun.
Looking at her much lighter skin, Serra couldn't help but clench her fist.
She could feel very clearly, outside of the particularly distinct stinging sensation, that her muscles and the tendons pulling them could be controlled very delicately.
This sensation of controlling everything gave Serra a false impression of omnipotence.
She shook her head slowly, pushing aside those somewhat absurd thoughts, and as she looked at Annie approaching, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.
She had thought that Annie would have some opinions about her and had even imagined that she might look at her with scorn, among other things.
But what Serra didn't expect was that in Annie's gaze there was only curiosity, and her tone was very gentle.
"How are you feeling now? Aside from the nerve and tendon pain, do you have any other discomfort?"
