Anton glanced at Chris, and with a sense of resignation said, "The more powerful you are, the more you must adhere to the rules, because no one likes a gun that decides its own target. A weapon that loses control must be destroyed, if you want to live longer, you must understand where the boundaries lie."
Chris muttered, "Why does what you say seem so logical yet always make people feel uncomfortable?"
Anton smiled and said, "Because I speak the truth, and you are blinded by beautiful lies. That's how you Americans are, loose and free, individualistic heroes, reckless, just like in your movies where superheroes always save the world. But are there superheroes in the world? No, there aren't."
Chris shrugged and said, "Really? The United States is still here, where is the Soviet Union?"
Anton fell silent.
