Alexander and Pasanin walked out, looking much more relaxed compared to the annoyed Brian.
"Good job, guys, let's switch it up now. This is an adversarial exercise, so having a variety of opponents to practice against is a good thing. Now it's our turn to attack and you three defend. How about that?"
Alexander completely ignored Yang Yi and the rest of the rookies and made the suggestion to switch from defense to offense to Brian, which was, of course, part of an earlier plan.
The first adversarial exercise always had to cover all bases.
Brian looked at Zhang Yong with a stony face, then suddenly said, "No, I think just the two of us defending is fine."
Zhang Yong was left out. Clearly, Brian trusted himself and his longtime partner, Paul, more. Zhang Yong was skilled, but he had no synergy with Brian and Paul.
Zhang Yong just shrugged, showing no particular expression, but Yang Yi was not going to stand for it.
