Big Ivan's influence in Ukraine was built on the stability of the current regime; as long as the government remained stable, Jethro wouldn't dare to recklessly attack Big Ivan and his allies. However, if the current regime were entirely overthrown, Jethro could act without any scruples.
But Yang Yi wouldn't get involved in political affairs, some lines must not be crossed, some things must not be done, and at least, he shouldn't act as a pawn for an arms dealer while using his status as a mercenary as cover. The profit wasn't worth the risk, and Yang Yi was not willing to engage in such matters.

Jethro was taken aback, then he said into the walkie-talkie, "What did you say?"
"We haven't started shooting yet, but someone is firing. I'm not sure who they are. Do you still need us to open fire?"
