A sphere, bound by chains and resembling the sun, burst forth with blinding red light.
The entire hall was illuminated by the sun in the dome, and strangely enough, Marvin and his group did not feel the slightest bit of heat. Aside from the increased brightness, there was no discomfort whatsoever.
The temperature around them did not rise despite the appearance of the sun.
The hall was empty, and as they waited for Odin to appear, Marvin began to examine the statues embedded in the surrounding walls—creamy-gray with meticulous carving, quite exquisite. They appeared to be humans, but with bird-like wings on their backs, like the legendary angels.
