"By sea route?"
Marvin raised an eyebrow. He was familiar with maritime routes, but he was also aware that the sea was fickle and less safe than land. Besides, the First Bonaparte Empire and the Kingdom of Windsor were separated by just one strait, within sight of each other across the water. Was there a need to take the sea route?
"With the Royal Navy escort, we can be sent directly to Paris. If we go by land, our escorts will be the army of the First Bonaparte Empire, not the Royal Navy," Archbishop Brandon said. "The Royal Navy is the most elite navy in the world. It's better to rely on ourselves than to depend on others for safety, don't you think?"
"That's reasonable," Marvin nodded in agreement. "I will follow the Pope's arrangement then."
"Then it's settled. We depart the day after tomorrow at noon. I will come to pick you up."
"Alright."
