Nobles and people of West Island longed to overthrow the rule of the Windsor Royal Family. Many did not approve of the Church of the Three Goddesses of Fate, considering the Church an accomplice of the Windsor Royal Family. This was one of the reasons why Marvin chose to go to West Island to establish the Church of Truth.
As for Fourth Prince Arthur, his advocacy was completely different from that of the Windsor Royal Family. When he was assigned to the impoverished West Island, he worked diligently and greatly restored the nearly collapsed economy after the famine. Taking New Ross City as the foundation and radiating outwards, he influenced many counties and municipalities. Marvin had heard of his name long ago.
Arthur's wisdom diluted the people's resentment towards his origins, and when they learned what he intended to do, the West Island nobility were all eager to swear fealty to him.
