Night fell silently, the streets began to empty, and inside the factory, dim lights shone. Workers used long poles to hang lit kerosene lamps on the walls, barely illuminating the interior.
Marvin and his colleagues stood in front of the roaring machinery, watching the conveyor belt slowly turn. The engineer in charge of the calibration checked the machine back and forth. After confirming everything was correct, he approached Marvin and said, "Mr. Manstein, the machines have been installed. If there's nothing else, we will head back.
