"Good morning, Mr. Holmes."
Marvin greeted with a smile, looking at the figure standing tall in the sunlight.
Compared with him, Levin was not so relaxed, warily eyeing Holmes with his cane held crosswise in front of him and his foot half-retreated, ready to take action at any moment.
"It seems, Father, your wish has been fulfilled."
Holmes ignored the hostile gaze beside him and walked straight to the statue, dropping a Silver Shilling into the donation box.
"I've come to visit today for two reasons, first to bring the 10 Gold Pounds promised by Baron Bil, and secondly to personally inform you..."
A palm-sized leather pouch was placed beside Marvin, heavy with 10 Gold Coins bearing the likeness of Rod IV.
After a glance, Marvin pocketed the coin purse; it was his rightful reward for guarding the Blood Rose.
"I should be leaving soon."
