As evening approached, Daniel pushed open the door and saw Marvin and Yuniya sitting on the sofa, drinking tea.
"Back already? How did it go?"
"The students at Eton Public School were all sent home and gathered in the Westminster District. I just parted ways with some classmates, and as for London..."
Daniel hesitated before saying, "On the way back, I didn't see any supernatural beings attacking ordinary citizens, only Demon Hunters conducting searches and patrols."
The Church of the Three Goddesses claimed that the escaped prisoners wanted to retaliate against the Church and the Kingdom. Attacking ordinary citizens clearly wasn't the best way to take revenge. The prisoners' targets were mostly nobles and officials with whom they had grievances.
