At 10:30 pm, Helena took a carriage back to her garden villa in Russell Square in the Camden District.
The Camden District is located in the heart of London, adjacent to the Central District and the Westminster District, boasting some of London's most prime real estate. Here lie landmarks such as Regent's Park, the Windsor Museum, King's Cross Station, University of London, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The large garden villas surrounding Russell Square are the dwellings of high society families. Only the wealthy and titled can afford to live here.
Compared to Russell Square, the 56 classical villas in Regent's Park are even more luxurious, with even higher living conditions, but that area is reserved for the Duke and other members of the nobility. Helena knew that, as a kept mistress, she would never be allowed to reside in Regent's Park.
The garden villas around Russell Square were the best she could aspire to inhabit.
