The following morning in the grand and spacious Georgiyev Hall, all of Katerina's commanding officers were present.
The suddenly convened group murmured among themselves, uncertain of what had transpired.
With the sound of footsteps, Katerina, dressed in military attire and with a longsword at her waist, walked into the hall alongside Marvin and a few others, their firm heels clicking sharply against the tile floor.
Upon seeing Katerina's attire, the officers grew solemn, ceased their chatter, and stood up straight, fixing their gaze ahead.
Two guards closed the heavy doors, and Katerina ascended the steps, turned emotionlessly to face those below, including Onufri, and spoke loudly,
"Yesterday, I received a message."
"My brother, His Majesty the King, committed suicide by shooting himself in the Winter Palace."
The officers caught their breath, their eyes filled with shock and horror, their expressions incredibly odd.
