"Boss! Are you awake?!"
"Dad!"
The feeling of dizziness in his mind faded, and Marvin slowly opened his eyes, his vision occupied by several faces.
He propped himself up on the carpet and slowly sat up, rubbing his temples that were throbbing faintly, and asked, "How long was I unconscious?"
"Less than five minutes."
"Only five minutes?"
Marvin was somewhat surprised. In his mind, he had been in the True God's Divine Kingdom for at least half an hour. Even if his sense of time was off, the error couldn't have been that significant.
Could it be that the flow of time in the Divine Kingdom was different from the real world?
Marvin considered this possibility and didn't find it strange. The realm of a deity was bound to be peculiar and couldn't possibly be the same as the real world.
"Boss, what happened to you?" Levin asked. "Why did you suddenly faint? Overwork?"
"It was because of the Truth Pocket Watch."
