As night fell, Marvin brought Yuniya to Central Park. Although the three-day winter festival would not start until tomorrow, the stages and food stalls had already been set up early. Some hardworking vendors even opened their businesses ahead of time.
The bustling Central Park was crowded with people. Promotional banners were already hanging at the entrance. Police in woolly hats and gray coats patrolled in pairs. Torches stood beside the food stalls, and a bold and unrestrained atmosphere hit them in the waves.
"Daddy! There are some delicious-looking desserts over there!"
Amidst the crowd, Yuniya tugged Marvin over to a stall, pointing at the golden pastries that looked like sachima on display and asked the middle-aged vendor, "What are these?"
"Chak Chak, they've got honey and nuts in them!" said the middle-aged vendor with a smile, cutting off a small piece and handing it to Yuniya. "Try a bite, young lady."
"Mmm!"
