"Wow!" She opened her eyes wide, instantly awake, "Daddy, you're baking a cake!"
"Awake now?"

"Go wash your face and brush your teeth first, the cake won't be ready to eat for a bit."
"Got it!"
Yuniya ran back upstairs, thump, thump, thump. Seeing her so lively, just as usual, Marvin put his mind at ease, sat down at the dining table, and picked up the latest issue of... no, not the Daily Fun News, but The Contemporary, and started to read the news.
