The storm that surged into the bedroom through the slope of the roof tore off the latch, leaving the already feeble wooden door hanging at an angle, maintained only by a fragile strip of iron that held its last shred of dignity as a door. With a gentle push from a small hand, the door collapsed with a loud bang.
"Oh my!"
Yuniya was startled by the falling door and cautiously stepped out of the bedroom. She blinked at Marvin and the others staring intently at her and asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Before Marvin and the others could speak, Christoph rushed into the bedroom, shouting Selina's name, but when he saw the scene inside, he kneeled on the ground with a thud, staring blankly ahead.
