Marvin popped a mint leaf into his mouth, "If the breath that the Whales' Ancestor Cessida sensed was Ashes, and yet not Ashes herself, but instead Levin, then it's very possible that the Heavenly Revelation Church's deity Neireida is the same god as Ashes."
"Oh... so you're saying, Dad, that you're not certain whether Neireida and Ashes are the same god, right?"
"Yes, with limited information, I can only guess," Marvin nodded, "But if my guess is correct, then everything would be explained."
Since the Whale Ancestor Cessida did not clearly identify Ashes' identity, Marvin couldn't be certain that the God of Heavenly Revelations, Neireida, was Ashes. The other members on the icebreaker ship still had suspicions.
