At the end of August and beginning of September, the campus was much livelier, with parents of new students everywhere, holding cameras and taking photos at many iconic buildings of Chuhua University.
When Zheng Tan went out for a walk, he noticed some parents beaming with smiles as they said goodbye to their children at the dormitory entrances, ready to leave for home by train. However, as soon as they had walked a short distance, they began to cry, with some aunties even spoiling their makeup.
Mr. Jiao mentioned that many parents didn't bring their children themselves because they were afraid of not being able to let go. Although those parents didn't come, they too would cry for a long time at the local train station after sending off their children.
