"How would I know! That cat always appears and disappears unpredictably," Ermao replied, feeling quite depressed himself. "How can a cat be so troublesome? There's a decent distance from Chuhua University to here. Could it really be possible for cats to stroll so far away? But if it's going to take a walk, it should be at night, not during the busy daytime when there are lots of people and cars. It doesn't make sense."
As he was pondering the reason, Ermao's phone rang. After checking the caller ID, his expression tensed, and he immediately answered the call.
Seeing Ermao's reaction, Zheng Tan and Qin Tao thought something serious had happened. They didn't make any more fuss and quietly waited for Ermao to finish the call.
