Having devoured the Demon Earl, a terrifying power surged within Colin, and the empty, pale sensation of hunger once again tried to take dominance as his second personality nearly seized control of his body.
But it was at that moment that a chain of light which had bound Colin earlier suddenly exerted its force, violently pulling him from beneath the enormous phantom shadow, freeing him from the original "hunger."
When he came back to his senses, Colin found himself pulled into the Holy City, seemingly far from the battlefield.
"What's going on?"
Colin was somewhat puzzled.
